A great piece of old valve equipment.
Supplied with service manual downloaded from the internet.
Solartron 1420.2 DVM.
Uses end view numicators and neon decimal points, otherwise transistorised.
Not working now, probably due to electrolytic capacitor deterioration in the power supply.
Uses a 'standard reference cell' of 1.019v, which still appears to be OK!
Anita comptometer (calculator)
At the end of 1961 the Bell Punch Company put the Anita Mk VII on the market in continental Europe and the Anita Mk 8 in the rest of the world as the world's first electronic desktop calculators.
This is not working. Display is nixie tubes
PCBs interconnected with valve plugs and sockets. Contains valves, a dekatron, nixie numicators, and the logic is done with
selenium half-bridge rectifiers and cold cathode switching tubes. Worked until power supply failed some years ago.
