Gov Bala, Rufa’i college needs an FM station

Radio is an audio device for transmitting messages to a large audience. Radio involves the process by which messages are sent through electronic waves. In other words, sound could be sent and received through these waves. Radio is defined as the process of sending and receiving messages over the air, using electromagnetic waves. It is also the business of broadcasting programs to make people listen to broadcast programs.

The Department of Mass Communication, AD Rufa’i College of Education, Legal and General Studies, Misau needs urgent intervention from the Bauchi State Government under the leadership of Governor Bala Mohammed to build a radio station FM like Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic, Bauchi because it will help produce quality graduates.

The college and department had struggled for years without a radio station that could be operated on the college campus, primarily for educational purposes where students, particularly in the mass communication department, would learn the art of journalism and d other media studies.

The radio station, if built, will greatly benefit the people of Misau and its surroundings, among many others. Indeed, it will also help boost the economic activities of many people and produce quality college graduates.

I urge Governor Bala Mohammed and relevant authorities to do whatever is necessary to build a radio station at AD Rufa’i College of Education, Legal and General Studies, Misau due to its importance for communication students mass and for society in general.
